Why we give
The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving. When we give the first fruit to the church, we put God first in our lives. Generosity is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others.
God provides for the ministry of The Neighbourhood Church through your generosity. We honour your gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so that the financial integrity of The Neighbourhood Church remains beyond reproach.
Give to Missions until the end of December
We have a Missions Tree in the Pinehouse Foyer! Everyone who gives to Missions from now until the end of December can request an ornament be put on the Missions tree with one of two things:
a - a favorite scripture verse. For example, Psalm 16:1 or John 3:16.
b - or “in memory of” of someone who has passed away.
On your envelope or Memo Line, when you give to Missions, include a scripture or a remembrance of a loved one, and we will prepare Christmas tree ornament to be hung reflecting your request. Ornaments will be hung anonymously with no mention of the donor. Give to Missions, honour a loved one, draw peoples attention to Scripture this Christmas season.
